Bhavanisagar Dam

Bhavanisagar Dam and Reservoir also called Lower Bhavani Dam, is located on the Bhavani River in Erode district, Tamil Nadu, India. The dam is situated some 16 km (9.9 mi) west to Sathyamangalam, is 35 km (22 mi) from Gobichettipalayam and is 36 km (22 mi) north-east to Mettupalayam. The dam feeds the Lower Bhavani Project Canal and is the second largest dam in Tamil Nadu.The LBP was the first major irrigation project initiated in India after independence in 1947 and was in full operation by 1956.This dam supplies water to two canals.

Kodiveri Dam

Kodiveri Dam, is located on the Bhavani River near Gobichettipalayam in Western Tamil Nadu. The dam is situated along the State Highway 15 about 10 km (6.2 mi) from Gobichettipalayam towards Sathyamangalam.It was constructed by the Maharaja of Mysore in the 17th century, with a workforce that combined the labor of elephants and his prisoners.[1] Creating the dam consisted of carving a 20-foot wall of rock. The stones were then interlocked with iron bars and lead was used as mortar. These features, however, are not visible except in the dry season.

Kovai Kutralam

Kovai Kutralam is a scenic spot with a gentle waterfall originating on the Siruvani hill ranges. It is located on the western ghat mountain range that lies to the west of this city at a distance of about 35 kms from Coimbatore. The siruvani dam is just above this water fall and this place is under the control of forest department. Permission has to be sought from them to visit this Kovai Kutralam Falls. Limited bus service is available from the city and this area is out of bounds after 5 pm. This is the only place near Coimbatore where you find a nice enchanting waterfall.

Kovai Kondattam

Kovai Kondattam in Coimbatore is an amazing theme park for family and children in particular. It is located on the Perur – Siruvani main road and lies about 3 kms from the Perur temple. It has plenty of water games for children in addition to a fine play park with lots of play things. Kids are sure to enjoy their visit to this park which provides them ample facility to make merry and to have endless fun. The things available are dashing cars for small kids, wave pool for all, water dance, rock climbing etc.Corporate meetings can also be held with the entire infrastructure around here.
